22:11 - Selections from The Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Montclair's Sunday Worship Service by Rev. Judy Tomlinson.
THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
âFeelings like disappointment, embarrassment, irritation, resentment, anger, jealousy, and fear, instead of being bad news, are actually very clear moments that teach us where it is that weâre holding back. They teach us to perk up and lean in when we feel weâd rather collapse and back away. Theyâre like messengers that show us, with terrifying clarity, exactly where weâre stuck. This very moment is the perfect teacher, and, lucky for us, itâs with us wherever we are.â
âIf there is a single definition of healing it is to enter with mercy and awareness those pains, mental and physical, from which we have withdrawn in judgment and dismay.â
âThe cure for all ills and wrongs, the cares, the sorrows and the crimes of humanity, all lie in the one word âlove.â It is the divine vitality that everywhere produces and restores life.â
